CHICAGO,
IL -- An opening date has finally been set for the long anticipated Artshare.com
Trading Board. Originally scheduled to open mid-summer, the Board was
delayed as MacNeill Art Projects dealt with expansion issues, including
the recent MacNeill merger, the relocation to New York City and the improved
design of the Artshare.com website.
While these expansions initially drew resources away from Trading Board
development, their long-term benefits to MacNeill Art Projects outweighed
this temporary setback.
"I am excited to be able to offer a venue for Artshare.com users and Shareholders
to buy and sell Shares on the site. Though the opening has been delayed,
the additional time has allowed us to refine the Trading Board in its
function and design," MacNeill explained. "I look forward to seeing you
there."
The Board will officially go live 9:30 EST time Monday, August 23rd, 1999.
