CHICAGO, IL -- Ben MacNeill announced today that the Chicago-based MacNeill Art Projects and Artshare.com will be officially relocating to New York City in mid-August 1999.

This move comes after much deliberation and assessment of current and future goals in regard to the continued development of MacNeill Art Projects artwork.

"I am very sorry to leave Chicago," stated MacNeill, the creator of Artshare.com, "This phenomenal city has been instrumental in the direction of my art, and I take a great deal of pride in the time I have spent here."

"Though we will miss Chicago, we are very excited about the coming move to New York City. We are in a competitive business and I feel it essential at this time to establish a strategic position in New York," said MacNeill.

Artshare.com is expected to complete relocation and transfer of all services to the New York headquarters by August 23rd, 1999.
